Our customer return/refund policy at Aqua Fanatic.
All electrical products carry a 1-year warranty period from the date of sale, regardless of what is stated on the manufacturer’s packaging. Customers are welcome to contact our manufacturers if a claim falls outside of our warranty period, to see if it may be possible for us to cover it. Probes and lighting tubes carry a 6-month warranty period.
Returned products for warranty claims must be sent to us for the customer’s account for an initial inspection to determine if there is a product fault. Products returned for warranty claims that are found to be in working condition will be sent back to the customer, and a credit note will not be issued if the product was used.
Alternatively, a new part can be sent (and invoiced) to the customer first, and a credit note issued when the faulty product has been returned if it is the type of product that cannot be repaired. However, if the product returned is found to be in working order, and has been used, it will have to be invoiced & sent back to the customer. Aqua Fanatic reserves the right to repair any product or part thereof, that was returned for warranty purposes if it has already been used. The only circumstances under which we will consider replacing a product is if it was found to be faulty/damaged on initial inspection or first use, or if the unit is not able to be repaired. Repaired/replaced products will be sent back to the customer for our account.
This does not apply to products returned for repairs or warranty purposes. Due to the nature of our extensive product catalogue and special orders on many products purchased by customers, we do not accept returns on any products as a result of satisfaction. Be sure to do comprehensive research and/or contact us in case you feel uncertain about a product or the purchase of it.
Products returned by customers for repairs that fall outside of warranty claims are asked to send the goods to us at their cost. The repaired product can be sent back at our cost if it is sent together with an order; otherwise, the cost of sending the product back will be for the customer’s account.
